First was the recital which was just...fantabulous

...And the Summer Concert Series at Long's Park.

| wow...what a weekend! Yesterday I went to Hershey and auditioned to be a dancer in their shows at the park. I didn't get a call back....but it was such an amaaazing experience. I walked in there and immediately I was like "I want to go home," it being my first real audition, I was so afraid. But I stuck it out, learned alot and met some cool people who love the same thing I do. So that was really cool.
Then today was the first rehearsal at Encore for the senior number....oh man. I never thought that I would cry my senior year, but the tears started flowing today, haha. It always happens when Alvina talks....always. She is so passionate about dance and everything she says just goes straight to the heart. She was talking to us about the dance before we started learning it...and I welled up alittle...no tears though. But after we learned the first eight count...there was no stopping it. I forget what alvina was talking about but all I could think of was recital time doing this dance. ahh...if this is me now, i'm going to be a mess by the time the recital gets here.
well, dance team is over, which is extremely sad but I absolutely can't wait until FOLLIES! Follies is always sooo much fun, another chance to be on stage. And of course before that we have the Faculty dance at Clash of the Classes, always a fun time.
3 1/2 months left of my senior year and high school...hard to believe. I'm so ready to move on but not ready to leave behind what I have now.
